Try using web_set_timeout in your scripts that way you won't have to do it manually on the controller setting and VUgen. Read the help if you need more information on how to use it. I noticed that when engineers try to do change Timeout setting manually, they tend to miss couple scripts.

Hi Vijay,

Out of the four listed, where is the error occurring?

 1. Does the error occur in Vugen?
 2. Does the error occur in Controller?
 3. If yes for (2), does it occur in the start of the scenario run or in the middle of the scenario run?
 4. If yes for (2), what is the amount of running users when the error occur?

If it happens at Vugen, it seemed that there is actually a problem connecting to your application. Try accessing the application normally via browser. Also, when is the time-out happening? It may show some clues to the problem. :)
